It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Manor ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Churchland Truckers  and snuck past  9-7. The  win was nothing new for Manor as they're now sitting on six straight.
 Manor got a big performance out of  Krystina Richardson, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.  Willow Wilson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
 On Churchland's side,  Rori Thompson was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Teyona Mazell, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Manor has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. As for Churchland, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manor will take on Granby at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Manor is on a three-game streak of home wins, Granby a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Churchland will take on First Colonial at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. First Colonial is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game  this season.
