Greer is 6-0 against Laurens since January of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Greer Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Laurens Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Laurens took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Greer, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Greer was able to grind out a solid win over Eastside, taking the game 48-37.
Meanwhile, Laurens' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 57-34 defeat at the hands of Wade Hampton. Laurens has not had much luck with Wade Hampton recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Greer's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Laurens, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 7-10.
Everything came up roses for Greer against Laurens when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 69-40 win. Does Greer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Laurens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
