Liberty Union and Hamilton Township are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Liberty Union Lions are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Hamilton Township Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Liberty Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Liberty Union had to settle for a 50-47 defeat against Teays Valley. Liberty Union has struggled against Teays Valley recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Noah Shook, who scored 15 points. He scored a full 31.9% of Liberty Union's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Shawver, who scored 13 points.
Even though Hamilton Township has not done well against Logan Elm recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Hamilton Township strolled past Logan Elm with points to spare, taking the game 60-43.
The losses dropped Liberty Union to 0-3 and Teays Valley to 2-1.
Liberty Union beat Hamilton Township 52-40 in their previous meeting back in February. Does Liberty Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hamilton Township turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
