East Bernard has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hempstead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Brahmas will head out on the road to challenge the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. East Bernard will be strutting in after a victory while Hempstead will be coming in after a loss.
East Bernard is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Boling on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Haley Preisler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February.
In other batting news, East Bernard got a massive performance out of Samantha Fryer, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Claire Viktorin was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and three runs.
East Bernard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Hempstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to Van Vleck.
The win made it two in a row for East Bernard and bumps their season record up to 9-10-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Hempstead, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Everything went East Bernard's way against Hempstead when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as East Bernard made off with a 16-0 win. Will the Brahmas repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
