Kevion West Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Waltrip's Kevion West, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. West's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Waltrip's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. West and Waltrip will square off against Galena Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Baines Posts Huge Game in 17-14 Loss
Westbury was sadly handed a defeat on Saturday, but David Baines did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Baines was still balling out as he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Westbury dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Baines and Westbury will challenge Spring Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
