The Hayfork Timberjacks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They claimed a resounding 64-17 win over Butte Valley on the road. The result was nothing new for Hayfork, who have now won eight games by 36 points or more so far this season.
Levi Cavalli continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 400 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 23.5 yards per carry. Cavalli's longest rush was for an incredible 88 yards. Anthony Bonelli also helped out as he racked up 162 rushing yards.
Hayfork's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Butte Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Hayfork will be playing in front of their home fans against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Princeton is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Butte Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Dunsmuir at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
