Volleyball Recap: Becker Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Becker, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the St. Francis Fighting Saints on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Brynn Koste paced Becker's offense, picking up 14 kills. Koste got some help from Elaynna Kuklok and her 16 assists. Kuklok was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Becker's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for St. Francis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Becker will head out to take on St. Cloud Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hibbing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
