 On Lakeridge's side,  LAUREN BEACH was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with a  home run. The team also got some help courtesy of  LIVIA SAFRANSKI, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Even though they lost, Lakeridge  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Linn struck out six times.
 West Linn's victory was  their eighth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Lakeridge, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Linn will take on Tigard at 6:45  p.m.  on Friday. West Linn is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game  this season. As for Lakeridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tualatin at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Lakeridge is facing Tualatin at the right time seeing as Tualatin is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
