The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes will head out on the road to challenge the Social Circle Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Monroe Area got the win against Jasper County by a conclusive 7-2. It was an even better day for KJ Wells as she scored six goals for her team.
Meanwhile, everything went Social Circle's way against Athens Academy on Friday as Social Circle made off with a 5-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Social Circle.

Monroe Area suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Social Circle when the teams last played back in March of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Monroe Area was down 3-0.
