Forge Christian's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Peak to Peak as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Fury in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Julianna Alfaro, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxine Rossi, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Forge Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Academy came up short against Weld Central on Saturday, falling 19-7.
Chloe Mooney made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI. Daelin Ruff was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Forge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Jefferson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
Jefferson Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Forge Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Jefferson Academy, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Forge Christian's sizable advantage in that area, the Jaguars will need to find a way to close that gap.
