The Eastlake Titans will face off against the Torrey Pines Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Eastlake came up short against Canyon Crest Academy and fell 3-1. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Eastlake's loss came about despite a quality game from Robert Almendarez, who had 26 assists. Those 26 assists gave Almendarez a new career-high.
Torrey Pines extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Beckett Ribeiro-Greenbaum. Torrey Pines walked away with a 3-1 win over Del Norte on Thursday with plenty of help from Ribeiro-Greenbaum, who had seven aces and six digs. With that strong performance, Almendarez is now averaging an impressive 12.5 assists per game.
Torrey Pines was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.
Eastlake better focus on containing Griffin Dieter and Zach Lau as the pair were huge in Torrey Pines' win. Dieter had 14 digs, while Lau had 16 assists and two aces. Lau is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Torrey Pines was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Torrey Pines' victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Eastlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

However, it's not like Torrey Pines struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6 aces.
