You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between South View and E.E. Smith. South View put a hurting on E.E. Smith to the tune of 54-10. For South View, this is just revenge for the 17-34 defeat they suffered against E.E. Smith the last time they faced one another.
South View's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. E.E. Smith countered with 10 points, leaving the score at 28-10 going into the half. South View put the game away in the third quarter with 19 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. E.E. Smith are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.
South View will be playing at home against Cape Fear at at 7:30 PM next week. Those two teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for E.E. Smith, they will face off against Pine Forest. Pine Forest are cruising in on a three-game winning streak.
