Gray Collegiate Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Brookland-Cayce to the tune of 63-7. The War Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Trevon Williamson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 222 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. He has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Nate Dixon was another major influence, as he rushed for 51 yards and ran in a TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Gray Collegiate Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 358 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
Gray Collegiate Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Domarion Wilson and Jack Armstrong, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Brookland-Cayce's side was Michael Boulware, who made 20 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hartsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-8 win over Crestwood. With the Red Foxes ahead 24-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Hartsville's win came from a few key players Gray Collegiate Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ford Wallace, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 145 yards and two TDs on only ten passes. CJ Hickmon was in the mix as well, providing Hartsville with two touchdowns.
Hartsville pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.6 points over those games. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their record now sits at 9-2.
