The Tilden Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Solorio at home to the tune of 35-7. Tilden might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Tilden got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniela Villegas-Sarmiento out in front who scored 7 points. Another player making a difference was Martiana Patton, who scored 9 points.
Tilden has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 6-0 record. As for Solorio, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Tilden will head out on the road to face off against Hirsch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hirsch comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Solorio, they will be playing at home against Catalyst-Maria at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Catalyst-Maria presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Solorio in Illinois (Catalyst-Maria is ranked 227th, while Solorio is ranked 493rd).
