Design Tech is 6-0 against the Vikings since April of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Design Tech Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Pescadero Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Design Tech is no doubt hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Design Tech suffered a tough 68-42 loss at the hands of the Mavericks.
Design Tech might have lost, but man, Bassam (Sam) Karadshe was a machine: he scored 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Karadshe has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Pescadero's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Pacific Bay Christian at home by a decisive 59-43 margin.
Design Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Pescadero, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Design Tech was able to grind out a solid win over the Vikings when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 49-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Design Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
