Babcock found their leader in underclassman Jameson Habing, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Habing has scored at least a third of Babcock's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Allen, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Babcock pushed their record up to 11-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 346-1232-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Babcock will take on the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (The Classical Academy of Sarasota is ranked 690th, while the Trailblazers are ranked 671st). As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immanuel Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
