The T.C. Roberson Rams had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.1 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came out on top against Enka by a score of 56-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as T.C. Roberson also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Jacob McGraw was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dean Lowe, who scored 13 points.
Enka's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Waddell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Logan Trantham was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
T.C. Roberson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Enka, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. T.C. Roberson will take on the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Rams like a good challenge. As for Enka, they will be playing at home against the Titans at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McDowell is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.
