Broken Bow won the last time they faced Wood River and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Broken Bow Indians' way against the Wood River Eagles as the Broken Bow Indians made off with a 74-48 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season.

Wood River lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Lacie Frear, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Frear a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lainey Paulk, who posted 11 points.

The win was the third in a row for Broken Bow, bringing their record for this year to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Wood River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Broken Bow will welcome Gothenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gothenburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Broken Bow likes a good challenge. Wood River has already played their next game (against Grand Island Central Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
