The Lewis Central Titans entered their tilt with the Malcolm Clippers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lewis Central came out on top against Malcolm by a score of 55-43 on Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Malcolm had strong showings from Owin Little, who scored 12 points, and Maddox Meyer, who scored 11 points.
Lewis Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Malcolm, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
Lewis Central will head out on the road to square off against Sioux City North at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Sioux City North has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Malcolm, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Plattsmouth at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Plattsmouth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on January 5th.
