Northwestern Area had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-46 walloping at Warner hands. If Northwestern Area were hoping for some payback for the 12-44 loss against Warner the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Northwestern Area off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Warner a 1-0 record.
Next week, Northwestern Area take on Ipswich/Edmunds Central at 7:00 PM. As for Warner, they will face of against Faulkton.
