Oakfield-Alabama has gone a perfect 3-0 against Caledonia-Mumford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Avery Watterson was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for Oakfield-Alabama: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jackson Gilbert, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Meanwhile, Caledonia-Mumford got themselves on the board against Mount Morris on Saturday, but Mount Morris never followed suit. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
Not much got past Tyler Potter, who gave up just four hits to keep Mount Morris off the board.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Wiley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Colton Auger also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Oakfield-Alabama's record now sits at 7-8. As for Caledonia-Mumford, their record is now 5-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Oakfield-Alabama has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Caledonia-Mumford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
