Malden extended the longest winning streak in SE Missouri - South this week by beating St. Pius X, 37-6. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Hayti and St. Vincent played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Hayti eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory. Karnard Humes ran for 94 yards and caught two passes for 31 yards in the win.
Blayn Goodding was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 127 yards as East Prairie topped the Indians.
Austin Neisler put up the best numbers through the air as Hayti beat St. Vincent. He finished with a total of seven completions for 83 yards and one touchdown.
Hayti's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Humes has thrown for 809 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Demetrius Luster has 25 catches for 442 yards. Humes also leads the league in rushing with 612 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Justin Peden's team takes on Portageville. The Indians' offense has racked up 220 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Bulldogs have allowed only 128 on the year.
