After losing to Spanaway Lake the last time they met, Sumner decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans blew past the Sentinels 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Sumner's got stronger as the match went on, holding Spanaway Lake to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 25-16.
