Legacy Christian Academy dropped their record down to 5-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Ansonia Tigers, falling 19-2. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.
Legacy Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tessa West, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that West has hit this season.

Looking ahead, Legacy Christian Academy is taking a road trip to take on Yellow Springs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.17 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
