Cody Williams and Troy Morrow provided fans with a highlight when they connected against East Longmeadow. The longest such play in AA this season, the connection resulted in 71 yards.
Longmeadow was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Lancers defeated Holyoke 36-26.
Central's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Williams threw for 146 and 3 touchdowns and Morrow had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Morrow contributed 54 yards. Ju'an Williams helped Central's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 54 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when West Springfield takes on Minnechaug Regional. As it stands, the Terriers are in fifth, while the Falcons are in second.
Westfield scaled the state rankings by moving to 95 from 153 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bombers were able to move up by defeating West Springfield 49-20.
