Central won against Woodlawn-B.R. last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Central Wildcats were the clear victor by a 15-4 margin over the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Central's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph's Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Central will take on Liberty Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph's Academy, they will square off against East Ascension at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. East Ascension is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
