The Linn Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over Belle. This was payback for Linn, who suffered a 52-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Linn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seth Wolfe, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Wolfe pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gus Peters, who scored 16 points.
Linn's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Belle, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Linn won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sullivan at 8:30 p.m. on December 15th. Sullivan is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Belle, they will head out on the road to face off against Bourbon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
