Denver Academy of Torah got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Avi Askenazi out in front who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Ari Hirsch, who scored 8 points.
The victory got Denver Academy of Torah back to even at 1-1. As for Two Roads Charter School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver Academy of Torah will take on Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Two Roads Charter School, they will head out on the road to face off against STEM School Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
