Palm Bay was led to victory by Aaron Mcgee and Willie Burnette III. Mcgee dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Burnette III scored 14 points along with 7 assists and 7 rebounds. The contest was Mcgee's third in a row with at least ten points. Willie Thompson iii was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory got Palm Bay back to even at 2-2. As for Merritt Island, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Bay will challenge Heritage at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Merritt Island, they will head out on the road to face off against Satellite at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
