In what's become a running theme this season, the KIPP King Lions gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They breezed by Lighthouse Community at home to the tune of 79-31. Winning may never get old, but KIPP King sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for Zion Taylor, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'mauri Woodfolk, who scored 15 points.
KIPP King has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Lighthouse Community, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
KIPP King will head out on the road to challenge the at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Leadership has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matches. Lighthouse Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
