After flying high against the Roxbury Prep Charter Wolves last Saturday, the Neighborhood House Charter Legends came back down to earth. Neighborhood House Charter fell 64-52 to the Panthers on Tuesday.
Neighborhood House Charter's loss came despite strong showings from Tavon Rhodes and Troy Dates. Rhodes dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Dates scored 14 points along with three steals. Rhodes hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahloni George, who scored six points along with 18 rebounds and two steals.
Neighborhood House Charter's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Cathedral, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neighborhood House Charter will square off against the at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cathedral, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cardinal Spellman and the Panthers are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
