Plumstead Christian will face off against the Bristol Warriors at 3:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Plumstead Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2  runs per game  this season.
Plumstead Christian's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  6-0 margin over Calvary Christian Academy. The  win continues a trend for Plumstead Christian in their matchups with Calvary Christian Academy: they've now won three in a row.

 Declan Glass made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 16 over eight innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Santi Torres, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.  Asher Franklin also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen bases of the season.
Meanwhile, Bristol posted their closest  victory since March 19th on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  win over Collegium Charter.
Like Plumstead Christian, Bristol also got a great game from a two-way player:  Eddy Diaz. He  struck out 11 batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Those  11  strikeouts gave  Diaz a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Cole Guy was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with six  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. Bristol is undefeated when  Guy posts two or  more  runs, but 1-4 otherwise.  Brady Slate was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Bristol  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .585. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Collegium Charter only posted  an  OBP of  .343.
 Plumstead Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bristol, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Plumstead Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bristol struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 5.5  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
