Rye won against Clarkstown North last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Garnets claimed a resounding 42-13 victory over the Yorktown Huskers. The win continues a trend for the Garnets in their matchups with the Huskers: they've now won six in a row.

Rye got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Miller out in front who threw for 255 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 60 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Charlie Garnett, who rushed for 72 yards and three scores.

Rye's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Yorktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Rye will head out on the road to take on Eastchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yorktown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mahopac at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
