The Berean Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Northgate 77-33. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Berean Christian in their matchups with Northgate: they've now lost eight in a row.
Northgate can attribute much of their success to Roland Anderson, who scored 12 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Grayson Boustead, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Berean Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Northgate, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.
Berean Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mt. Diablo at 7:00 p.m. Mt. Diablo has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. As for Northgate, they will head out on the road to face off against Las Lomas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Las Lomas is ranked 256th, while Northgate is ranked 241st).
