After low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Spanish Fork brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the Payson Lions with a sharp 6-1 win on Thursday. The contest was close at halftime, but Spanish Fork turned on the heat in the second half with five goals.

Spanish Fork's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Payson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
