The Goessel Bluebirds can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Everything went their way against Herington as Goessel made off with a 46-21 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Goessel.
Despite the defeat, Herington saw an underclassman step up: Isabelle Ecklund scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Goessel has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Herington, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9.
Goessel will play host again and welcome Classical, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goessel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Herington, they will head out on the road to take on Solomon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Herington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Friday.
