Softball Recap: Summersville Wins Going Away Against Couch

Summersville won the last time they faced Couch and things went their way on Monday too. Summersville was the clear victor by a 23-7 margin over Couch.

Kaylin Heiney was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and six RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tara Bryant, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-5.

The victory got Summersville back to even at 1-1. As for Couch, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. As for Couch, they will take on Seymour at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
