It was fun while it lasted, but Shorecrest's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Tuesday. They fell 53-45 to the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors. The matchup marked the Scots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Edmonds-Woodway's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Alseth, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Hiatt, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shorecrest fell to 11-1. As for Edmonds-Woodway, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Shorecrest and Edmonds-Woodway should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Shorecrest (ranked 18th) will meet Archbishop Murphy (ranked 159th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Edmonds-Woodway (ranked 14th) will meet Meadowdale (ranked 91st) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
