Gilbert Christian got themselves on the board against Bourgade Catholic on Tuesday, but Bourgade Catholic never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Golden Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Burr, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Micky Moran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Gilbert Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Bourgade Catholic, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilbert Christian will take on Yuma Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Shamrocks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bourgade Catholic, they will face off against Winslow at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
