Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Sakairah Sterling was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
Laurel's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.2 points per game. As for Eleanor Roosevelt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
