Jenkins rushed for 141 yards and four touchdowns, while Tolbert rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Jenkins is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Hickory Grove Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Anthony Hawkins, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Gavin Thompson who rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Asheville School (Independent)'s win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hickory Grove Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
