Springs Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 71-11 win over Washington Catholic. Springs Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 45-31 bruising from Henryville. Christian Academy has struggled against Henryville recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Carly Stevens, who scored 12 points along with two steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Leah Stevens was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Springs Valley's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.
