Charlotte Christian is 8-2 against Providence Day since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. Charlotte Christian will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Charlotte Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Charlotte Catholic on Saturday. The Knights put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Russ Berger looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

Meanwhile, Providence Day entered their game against Gaston Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Charlotte Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Providence Day struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Charlotte Christian got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Providence Day by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
