Basketball Recap: Jadyn Climer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Fort Madison

There's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They snuck past the Fort Madison Bloodhounds with a 41-35 victory on Monday.

Hamilton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadyn Climer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Climer is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dettriona Church, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds.

Hamilton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Fort Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Hamilton will head out to take on Mendon Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Madison, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Central Lee at 11:30 a.m.
