The Baltic Bulldogs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed by Beresford at home to the tune of 74-38. For Baltic, this counts as revenge for the 55-44 loss Beresford walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Jack Erickson had an outrageously good game as he scored 34 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Mark Ditter, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Baltic's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Beresford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Baltic will head out on the road to face off against Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beresford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dakota Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Dakota Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
