Ethan Jackson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is St. John's Catholic Prep's Ethan Jackson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jackson picked up 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (110). He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards.

For the year, Floyd has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 72.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 36.56 rushing yards per game.

Ridge Ritter Puts an End to Boys Latin's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Ridge Ritter, Boys Latin said goodbye to their eight-game losing streak. Ritter produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he picked up three sacks and made seven total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last seven games he's played.
Boys Latin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Paul's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
