Durham moved up to 830 from 920 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sacramento Valley. The Trojans were able to move up by besting Hamilton 24-19.
Durham and the Braves played the most contested game in the league this week, with Durham eventually emerging with a 24-19 victory. Josh Heath threw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 21 yards in the win.
Jake Voorhees threw for 19 yards and 16 touchdowns. He went 2-4 with 1 interception.
Will Snyder was the best receiver in the league this week as Dan Henry's team beat Hamilton. Snyder racked up 4 receptions for 111 yards. Zach Marks helped Durham's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 61 yards.
Voorhees put up the best numbers through the air as Pierce defeated Williams.
Heath was a passing and rushing force as the Trojans topped Ryan Bentz's team.
Ryley Haugh was the best running back in Sacramento Valley this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 136 yards as Durham topped the Braves. Teammate Tyler Hughes added to the ground attack by rushing for 102 yards.
The Trojans' Heath and Marks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Heath has thrown for 628 yards this season, while Marks has 13 catches for 349 yards. Trinity's Cory Cook leads the league in rushing yards with 473.
The Wolves took down Modoc 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
