After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Sonora, Center Point was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the KIPP Somos Collegiate Tigers. The  win was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10,  25-10.
 Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 16 kills. Beckerson got some help from  Kaylani Ritter and her 21 assists. Ritter was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with eight aces.
Center Point's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for KIPP Somos Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Coming up, Center Point will challenge Harper at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. KIPP Somos Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
