Chincoteague got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Harper out in front who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Harper has scored at least 25% of Chincoteague's points. Another player making a difference was Jake Harper, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists.
Wicomico's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chincoteague, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Everything came up roses for Wicomico against Chincoteague in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 85-39 win. With Wicomico ahead 47-24 at the half, the match was all but over already.
