District 10 Region 2 A recap November 13, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Chad Eisenhooth and Jesse Staudt connected against West Middlesex. The connection was good for 84 yards, the longest such play in District 10 Region 2 A this season.
Eisenhower scaled the state rankings by moving to 317 from 402 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Knights were able to move up by losing to Sharpsville 31-7.
Cochranton's dynamic duo of Eisenhooth and Staudt proved to be unstoppable against the Big Reds, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Eisenhooth threw for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns and Staudt had 158 yards receiving. Garrett Adams helped Cochranton's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 104 yards.
He was 15-26 with 0 interceptions.
5-foot-8 quarterback Rob Wilston of Eisenhower is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,130. He has also thrown 14 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adams. The Cochranton star has 21 catches for 411 yards.
Maplewood lost to Lakeview 61-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dane Barker was a bright spot for the Tigers, as he threw for 24 yards and ran for 55 yards in the loss.
